Until The Sky Falls Quiet
Documentary & Advocacy Campaign Ecosystem
BIM supported Until The Sky Falls Quiet as more than a documentary campaign. The work became a coordinated advocacy, screening, fundraising and public-engagement ecosystem connecting media storytelling, partner visibility, social media promotion, paid campaign execution, retargeting, first-party audiences and cross-organisational stakeholder coordination.
Metrics reflect one selected campaign activity by BIM during the reporting period and do not represent the full scope of all public impact campaigns of BIM and the documentary.
Context & challenge
The challenge
Until The Sky Falls Quiet needed to move beyond a single film asset and become a wider public-engagement and advocacy vehicle. The campaign environment involved sensitive humanitarian messaging, partner alignment, charity visibility, screening promotion, audience mobilisation, data privacy considerations and the need to convert attention into meaningful awareness, attendance, support and action within short promotional windows.
The project also required coordination across multiple organisations, campaign partners, charity stakeholders and event contexts, including screening activity, partner-led promotion and cross-organisational audience activation. The work needed to respect the documentary's emotional weight while still operating with disciplined campaign structure, clear calls to action and careful handling of audiences, retargeting and stakeholder messaging.
BIM's role
How BIM delivered across the journey
- 01
Documentary production support
Images supplied for documentary use, with consent, release and approval coordination, including Gaza-based hospital and individual release documentation where required, alongside translations, captions and hands-on production support.
- 02
Campaign ecosystem
Screening promotion, social media, partner visibility and charity/stakeholder coordination, connected with paid campaigns, creative direction, CTA direction and reporting, treating the film as one campaign ecosystem rather than a standalone asset.
- 03
Audience & stakeholder activation
Where approved, BIM-owned and partner-authorised audiences, retargeting and cross-organisational campaign coordination, all handled with privacy-aware audience separation and campaign-specific reporting.
Audiences & privacy
First-party & partner audiences
BIM supported the campaign with access to relevant BIM-owned and partner-authorised first-party audiences where appropriate, helping extend the documentary campaign beyond cold traffic into warmer audience pools, retargeting pathways and cross-organisational advocacy networks.
Data use and audience privacy
BIM never sells, exposes, transfers or reuses client or partner audience data outside the approved campaign scope. Client and partner audience data is only used with permission, for the agreed purpose, and is kept separate from BIM-owned audience assets. Where first-party, partner-authorised or owned audiences are activated, BIM applies privacy-aware workflows, access controls, data separation and campaign-specific reporting.
Results & outcomes
Results & outcomes
One selected campaign window produced 1M+ impressions and 35K+ clicks at $0.19 a click and a 6.13% click-through rate: engagement that reflects genuine audience intent, not passive reach. Around it, screenings, partner amplification and fundraising activity carried the film well beyond its promotional windows.
Why it matters
Why it matters
Mission-led campaigns often fail when storytelling, partner coordination, paid media, audiences, privacy and reporting are treated separately. This project showed how BIM can help turn a sensitive documentary into a coordinated campaign ecosystem, connecting narrative, stakeholders, screenings, first-party audiences, retargeting and public engagement under one structured delivery model.
