Context & challenge

The challenge

Prestige International holds the exclusive rights to V Energy across the MENA and Gulf region, licensed from Frucor Suntory, and was entering the market beginning with the UAE, working to Frucor's established V brand guidelines. The brand needed a structured, commercially grounded launch pathway, not a generic awareness campaign. The core challenge was sequencing: making sure marketing effort and spend matched real-world product availability, so demand was built exactly where and when customers could actually buy it.

BIM's role

How we approached it

BIM approached the work as a commercial market-entry strategy built around a phased rollout aligned directly with the on-ground sales team. Rather than advertising broadly, the plan moved area by area in step with sales: BIM would first raise awareness in a target area so the product became familiar; the sales team would then approach retailers there, who already recognised the brand, making listings easier to win; and once stores in that area stocked V Energy, BIM concentrated advertising in that area to drive trial and sell-through. Critically, the strategy deliberately avoided advertising where the product wasn't yet available: no wasted spend building demand that couldn't be met. The sequence was continuously informed by feedback from the sales team on the ground, feeding back into targeting, timing and geographic priorities, all within Frucor's V brand guidelines.

Delivery

What we delivered

BIM delivered the market-entry and launch strategy: market study and feasibility review, audience mapping, positioning within V's brand guidelines, a UAE-first launch pathway targeting young professionals, digital-first testing, and a geographically sequenced, sales-aligned rollout plan, connecting awareness, retail availability and advertising concentration into one coordinated commercial sequence, with business-plan-style launch direction.

Results & outcomes

Results & outcomes

The work gave Prestige International a clear, de-risked launch pathway for regional market entry: a rollout sequence where advertising and physical availability moved together, focusing spend where the product was actually on shelves, and a repeatable, area-by-area model that could scale across the Gulf and wider MENA region as distribution expanded.

Why it matters

Why it matters

This case shows BIM's commercial strategy capability beyond advertising execution: connecting market insight, audience logic and digital testing with the realities of an on-ground sales operation and a global brand's guidelines, so marketing and distribution advance together rather than in isolation.
