APAN (Australia Palestine Advocacy Network)
Voter Information Platform & Election-Period Campaign
Election-period voter-information platform with searchable and filterable candidate data, advocacy messaging and a traffic acquisition campaign designed to help audiences navigate fragmented information.
Context & challenge
The challenge
In the lead-up to a federal election, APAN needed to turn public sentiment into informed voter action, inside a compressed, high-visibility window. The work had to do three things at once: build a genuinely useful digital tool that let voters search their electorate and compare candidate positions; hold a clear, non-partisan information standard while carrying a strong advocacy message; and drive national traffic to the platform at speed. A static campaign would not have been enough. This needed information architecture, platform delivery and paid acquisition working as one system.
BIM's role
How we approached it
BIM approached the project as a connected advocacy system rather than a set of separate assets. The searchable candidate platform, the creative, the messaging and the paid acquisition were designed together, so creative drove qualified traffic, the tool converted interest into understanding, and clear action pathways carried engaged voters toward participation.
Delivery
What we delivered
BIM led the information architecture and digital platform execution: a searchable, filterable candidate database organised by electorate, region and stance, alongside creative direction, campaign messaging, and a paid social and traffic-acquisition campaign built to move audiences from awareness to the tool and onward to action.
Results & outcomes
Results & outcomes
The numbers describe use, not just reach: 253K clicks and 114K engagements meant voters were actively searching, filtering and comparing candidates through the platform during the election window, on the back of 8.2M+ impressions and 2.35M reach.
Why it matters
Why it matters
This case shows BIM's ability to fuse platform delivery with high-reach paid media in a time-critical advocacy moment, turning national sentiment into a usable, measurable voter tool.
